This is the official website of Birmingham UFO Group. The group began in 2007 and has grown from strength to strength. BUFOG looks into cases from both the area of Birmingham England and further afield. Dave Hodrien is both chairman and lead investigator for the group, and also is a regular lecturer on the UFO subject. There's to be another two day Rendlesham Forest conference down in Woodbridge on 16th-17th June. Speakers will include witnesses John Burroughs, Jim Penniston, Monroe Nevels and Larry Warren, and researchers Gary Osborn, Peter Robbins and Darren Perks. As well as our Ancient Aliens night set to take place in a couple of weeks, you can now read full details of lectures set to take place in the coming months. In March BUFOG chairman & investigator Dave Hodrien will be teaming up with an abductee to give you a fascinating joint lecture. The case involves controversial video evidence which may be proof that abductions do take place! In April UFO movie expert Robbie Graham will give a talk which will sort out fact from fiction in Hollywood's UFO themed films. And in May we welcome Phil Leirness, director of the new conspiracy documentary The Truth Is Out There. Phil will be presenting the documentary as well as holding a discussion on the making of it. I met the key witness at the sighting location for an interview. The witness had also already gone to the Express & Star newspaper to report his sighting. The case report includes this article. Another petition to the white house is being planned for December, aimed at the Obama administration asking them to reveal the truth about UFOs. Who knows whether anything will come of it but we'll never know unless we try. They need 25000 signatures by the end of Dec so make sure yours is amongst them. The world has a right to know.

Had an absolutely excellent time on BUFOG's skywatch at Cannock Chase on Saturday night. Although we didn't see any UFOs, there was some odd light anomalies found on the photos, and a helicopter was seen to act in an unusual manner. It was really good fun and the weather was on our side too despite the fact it had been raining on and off throughout the day. I've uploaded an absolutely stunning new contact case report about a lady and her family from Sheffield and the many fascinating experiences they have had over the years. If you saw my interview on Richard Hall's Starship a couple of months back you will have seen me speak of this case, however the report goes into much more detail and features a full regression transcript along with many drawings and photographs. Truly one of the most impressive cases I have looked into so far.

A man staying up late by a camp fire had an encounter with some unusual beings and then remembers seeing two egg shaped UFOs flying over the lake. Was it just a dream or something far more unusual? There's some new case reports to check out in the Investigations section - a white sphere seen over Oxford on 28th December 2008 (this report includes a video made by the witness describing what took place), a rotating silver egg-shaped UFO observed at Cookstown in Northern Ireland during April 2010, some orange orbs seen performing interesting manoeuvres over Tyneside in winter 2010, and a fascinating sighting of an object in the sky over Withernsea in June/July 2007, which seemingly operated outside of the atmosphere and performed a starling sudden manoeuvre. Two new case reports to check out in the Investigations section - a sighting of some glowing orange lights in Glasgow back in 2009, and a possible abduction of a couple in the winter of 1977 which took place at Great Barr in Birmingham. With this incident a bright light was seen, the area seemed to temporarily shut down, and there was 40 minutes missing time. Going forward I hope to arrange a dual regression for the witnesses.

I've now uploaded case reports on a white UFO seen over the French Alps from an aeroplane on 10th May 2011 which may have been a military drone, and a possible night-time UFO landing which occurred in November 2002 in London. I've uploaded a new report on a couple of historical sightings from Gillingham in October 1951 and Burnley in Autumn 1994 or 95 (Do a search for October 1995 to locate the report). The most fascinating thing about these sightings is that the witness saw essentially the same object twice - it looked the same and had a very similar movement path. Was it the same object? There's a new report in the Contactee Cases section about a man from Pontefract who recently had a vision of some Grey beings which could have been a direct psychic connection with the beings or possibly memories of an abduction. He's also had a number of other related experiences.

It's very interesting to see the similarities between this case and cases from here in the UK on the other side of the world. Two more case reports for you to check out, a rotating black triangular shaped UFO that was seen over Glasgow in March 1996, and some unusual blue coloured lights that were seen in the skies over Ayr on 27th November 2009. This one could have been down to a laser projection, but go have a read and decide for yourself.

I've added several more case reports to the site. In the Pre 2008 Investigations section you can now read about a strange shaped UFO that was seen in Blackridge in the summer of 1975/76 apparently interacting with a nearby TV mast, and a circle of multi coloured lights and white orbs which were seen over Huddersfield in September 1992. Check out the 2009 Investigations for details of a glowing white light which flooded the witnesses bedroom in St Albans. Was this an intended abduction which for some reason didn't take place?

On Friday I assisted Joanne Summerscales and Miles Johnson in running a contactee discussion meeting for their group AMMACH (Anomalous Mind Management Abduction and Contact Helpline). The event was invite only, which is why you probably were not aware it took place. It gave contactees a chance to discuss their experiences and speak openly about them on camera. I've uploaded the report on a fascinating close encounter with a glowing white UFO that took place in October 1965. The UFO was witnessed by a police officer on night patrol and was over the local police shooting range. Check out the Pre 2008 Sightings section for the report.

I've added reports for a further four cases to the relevant sections of the website. You can now read about a strange flash of light that someone from Wexford in Ireland saw on 23rd March, an orange sphere that was witnessed by a couple from Corris on 6th November 2010, a sighting of a silver sphere over Merthyr Tydfil in May or June 2010, and a Flying Triangle sighting from Walmer in Kent in the summer of 2001.

23/04/2011 - Another UFO Formation Witness Emerges!

A while back I released a report on a formation of UFOs which were seen up and down the UK on a night in the summer of 1974. The case was originally passed to me by a witness from Castle Vale. Late last year another witness came forward from Solihull. I have just released a report of a sighting of a red glowing orb in Liverpool in 1976/77. This same gentleman also had a sighting of a formation of UFOs several years prior to this. I believe that he is describing the same incident that I have already investigated from the two previous sources! I have added the new details to a third section inside the relevant report, go have a read and see what you think.

I've added another couple of case reports to the site. There's an incident involving strange aerial phenomena which was seen in the sky over Scunthorpe in 1988, and an even older incident from 1976/77 where a red glowing orb/sphere was seen over the Mersey river in Liverpool.

I've added four new varied case reports to the site. There's a stunning sighting of two saucer UFOs being intercepted by military jets back in August 1987 in Nova Scotia, Canada. A new contact case report from Richmond in Vancouver where a man had a visitation from a Grey back in February, and is showing signs he was abducted. A case from Reddich in 2010 where a large Flying Triangle craft was observed by a family. And a recent sighting from 16th April of orange orbs seen over Cardiff (probably lanterns). I've uploaded two new case reports to the Pre 2008 sightings section, both of which coincidentally took place in 1991. The first took place in June 1991 near to Blackmill. Numerous individuals saw a brightly glowing silver sphere which hovered and then shot away at tremendous speed. The other report covers an encounter with two anomalous objects in the winter of 91 in Bickerton Hills - a glowing white orb of light and a strange small object with red lights on.

Yet another contact report has now been uploaded and can be read in the Contactee Cases section. It covers the experiences of a girl from Shard End in Birmingham who recently had a visitation by a Grey and was probably abducted. Some fascinating drawings she did when she was 12 suggest previous contact experiences, and she has also experienced other paranormal events. The report includes segments of transcript from her regression. Her brother is also a contactee, and I investigated his experiences last year (Search for West Bromwich Contactee Case to read his report)

There are four new sighting reports to check out in the Investigated UFOs section, both of old and recent sightings. There's a report about a black UFO photograph that was taken over Victoria Park in Saint Helens on 8th February 2011, a stunning formation of Flying Triangle craft which were witnessed over Andover on 12th September 2004, a multiple witness sighting of a strange shape-changing white elongated UFO over Leicester in 1985 or 1986, and another black Flying Triangle which was seen by two men in Devon in 1978 or 1979. I've uploaded a new fascinating report to the Contactee Cases section of the site all about a lady from Stockholm in Sweden who has had many unusual experiences throughout her life, some of which appear related to contact. These experiences include sightings of beings, UFO encounters and unusual scratch marks which have appeared on her and her daughter many times. Just been to see the new alien themed movie Paul. It's an absolutely fantastic film and easily the best comedy ever made about the subject. Really great fun, totally hilarious and with superb attitude from start to finish! Highly highly recommended as long as you can cope with bad language - Paul sure is one rude little Grey! The movie meant even more to me because it starts at Area 51, the Little A'le'inn and the black mailbox right where I got hitched back in Feb 2010 - see our Articles page for the full lowdown on this.
